Has anyone else experienced the problems of:

1 When creating a short cut to a url and placing on your desk top. Clicking on it opens IE but the favorites list and the pull down lists are empty.

2. When accessing a web site ie overclockers tech support & hp tech support the telephone numbers suddenly dissapear.

Why clutter your desktop with links to URL's ?
That's what the favourites list is for.
